
United Football Club of Okeho has won the Okeho Centenary Football Tournament today at the mainbowl of the Okeho-Iganna Grammar School pitch by defeating the Mammoth Football club by 4 goals to 1.


The final was flagged off by the Onjo of Okeho, Oba Rafiu Osuolale Mustapha, Adeitan II, to the delight of over 4,000 people which include corporate and social dignitaries from the great town.

The second position goes to Mammoth FC and the third position goes to Young Stars FC.
Some decorated players of the tournament include Oladele Solomon of Mammoth FC is the Best Player of the tournament; Abaja Ridwan of United FC is the Best Goalkeeper while Ajayi Musa Okala of United FC is the Best Goalscorer.

The winning team embodied the unity that has made been evident in the town since the coming together of 11 towns centuries ago.
